When the camera panned the faces of the fans, I thought they were going to cry when Rocker struck out their boy & pitched a scoreless 8th. The only way it could've been better would've been if it had been the 9th.

What the heck happened last night? 8-2 lead in the 8th with 2 outs and the Braves allow a 9 run rally walking in 3 runs? That was a nice big choke job.

damn NYC is supposed to be the most important city in the u.s, THE PLACE IS A SLUM!, hell L.A is better than NYC and L.A is a slum also.

if you ever go to NYC FSDF has this advice
1. Take a gun or something to protect yourself
2. Dont take the subway
3. DONT YOU DARE WALK ON THE STREETS AT NIGHT (AND IN SOMEPLACES DONT WALK ON THE STREETS AT ALL)
4. Stay downtown, dont go to the residential places (remember what happened to diallo)

Man some of you are really ignorant idiots just like Rocker. Rocker is an inbred southern redneck who knows nothing. And he continues to show his stupity by opening his mouth and stirring more trouble and not knowing when to shut his mouth.

I don't even live in New York City, I live in the suburbs in Long Island. But having been to NYC often, I can say that it is probably the greatest city in the world. Its beautiful, and obviously the most significant city it he world based on what is locatedthere. But anyone who can not see beyond the bums on the streets and the garbage on the sidewalks is a narrow-minded fool anwway.

And if ANYONE can honestly stand here and defend Rocker and what he said, then you are a sick human being.

As for the Mets and Braves, how about Game 2 and 3 Tar Heel? :-) Braves sure got theirs, I had the pleasure of being at both games (though I'm more a Yankee fan, but I root for the Mets too). I'm just awaiting a blown save by Rocker to the Mets *wishful thinking* :-)

Mets have won two out of three... I'm not even a Mets fan, I'm a Yankees fan, I hate the Mets almost as much as the Sox. But Rocker does suck, when the Braves faced the Yankees he couldn't even throw a strike. And when Rocker comes to the real stadium in New York he will feel the hatred, and not be able to throw a strike again.

You're a darned commie practically to trash him. Who are YOU to censor what he thinks and says? Yes he's a redneck and not very sensitive to people with "alternative lifestyles".. but..

1. His comments were in a CAR made in PRIVATE (foolishly) to a reporter. The reporter then blew them across the nation--stabbing him in the back really.

2. It is HIS RIGHT to think and say that if he wishes. Anyone who wants to jail him or fire him or whatnot because of what he said in PRIVATE is part of the friggin' thought police!

3. He is a PITCHER. It's not like the Secretary of State made an announcement at the White House or something.

Rocker's personality may be abrasive, but to attack him for that and say you are a "sick human being" is just to flaunt your own ignoranance. I defend Rocker because I believe in the First Amendment to our Constitution.

Unfortunately, too many people--including the Braves--don't apparently.
